It's a form of male-bashing...Another form has made Oprah a billionaire.
Just about every standup comedian has jokes about how men are stupid and women are brilliant.
But what bothers me the most is it seems many young women today try to be more "macho" than they guys. In all of these reality shows, I see the young women cussing and threatening to fight. What's wrong with being feminine? Why do girls have to be "tough guys"? Why can't we be equal but different?
I doubt it will change, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

This phenomenon has been ongoing since television's inception. All tee vee sitcoms have an idiot dad who'd be completely lost without the genius little woman he was at least smart enough to take as his bride and mother of his children.
All this other female posturing stuff-cussin', swearin', fightin', bein' a street tough, is just a sign of insecurity.
It's also indicative of the fact little girls, just as little boys, need to have both a mother (figure) and a father (figure) in the home to teach them how to behave. Little females need to know how to conduct themselves around males, just as young males need to know how to treat females, while children of both genders learn to bond/relate to adults of their same sex in a healthy way.
Yes we are different, males and females; as the French say, "Vive la difference!"
The writer of the blog is correct. Idiocy is, indeed, gender neutral.
